Making homemade pizza is very, very easy, especially if you use store-bought dough. It's a lot of fun because you can cook with the whole family or with friends!

Ingredients

  • Store-bought or homemade pizza dough
    1 lb.
  • Pizza sauce
    1 jar
  • Jalapeño, seeded, thinly sliced
    1 pcs.
  • Mozzarella cheese, shredded
    10 fl. oz
  • Salami slices
    15 pcs.
  • Medium red onion, sliced very thin
    pcs.
  • Castelvetrano olives, pitted, sliced in half
    cups
  • Honey
    cups
  • Onion flakes
    to taste
  • Red pepper flakes
    to taste
  • Olive oil
    for brushing edges and pizza pan

Method

  • Heat oven to 500 F. 

  • Let the dough brew at room temperature for 30 minutes before stretching or rolling out onto a lightly floured surface with a rolling pin.

  • When your dough is roughly 10 inches in diameter or ½ inch thick, place it on oiled parchment paper or sprinkled underneath with corn meal to prevent sticking, pizza pan, or pre-heated pizza stone.

  • Spoon pizza sauce. Cover the sauce with ¾ of the mozzarella cheese.

  • Place the salami, onion, jalapeños, and olives onto the pizza. Sprinkle with remaining cheese.

  • Brush edges of pizza with olive oil and sprinkle with onion flakes.
