A very unusual dish served in clay pots. It is made of vegetables and meat which are baked in the oven. This roast can be cooked without meat, just replace it with mushrooms.

  • Potatoes
    2,2 pound
  • Pork
    0,7 pounds
  • Onion
    2,5 pcs.
  • Hard cheese
    0,8 cups
  • Butter
    0,2 pounds
  • Milk
    2 tsp.
  • Mmayonnaise
    4 tbsp.
  • Sour cream
    4 tbsp.
  • Salt
    to taste
  • Ground black pepper
    to taste
  • Herbs
    to taste

Method

  • Peel the onion, finely cut it.

  • Cut the pork into small slices. Season with spices. Combine with chopped onion and a little vegetable oil. Mix all ingredients and rest meat for 10 minutes.

  • Peel the potatoes, cut into stripes. Leave one potato and cut it into rings.

  • Grate cheese.

  • Take the pots. Put the ingredients to the pot in the following order: meat, onion and potato. Top with potatoes rings.

  • Make sauce. Mix the following ingredients: sour cream, mayonnaise and milk. Then pour the sauce over each pot. Divide the butter into portions and add to each pot. Sprinkle with grated cheese.

  • Bake in the oven for 40 minutes at 428 F. Serve with chopped herbs.
