This succulent ham makes an amazing Christmas dinner main dish that complements many side dishes. You can serve it with the corn casserole.


  • Dijon mustard
    1,9 tbsp.
  • Spiral cut ham with bone-in
    7,9 lb.
  • Cornstarch
    1,9 tsp.
  • Orange juice
    0,5 cup
  • Ginger powder
    0,2 tsp.
  • Brown sugar
    0,5 cup
  • Dijon mustard

  • Preheat your oven to 325°F. Mix the 0.25 cup of orange juice and 2 tablespoons of mustard. Grease the ham with the sauce, put in a baking dish and cover with a foil sheet. Bake the ham for 15 minutes per pound.

  • In the meantime, mix the brown sugar, cornstarch, 2 tablespoons of mustard, ginger powder and 0.5 cup of orange juice. Bring the sauce to a boil and cook for 4 minutes. Let the sauce cool.

  • 16 minutes before the cooking time is up, take the ham out of the oven and preheat it to 425°F. Grease the ham with the prepared mixture and put in the oven until it caramelizes.


  • If your ham has a plastic disc on the bone, it should be removed. 

  • You can use pineapple juice instead of the orange.
