Cut pork fillets into steaks. Tenderize the meat with a mallet. Season each slice with salt and pepper.
Heat the frying pan, add vegetable oil. Brown the steaks until half-cooked.
Wash the apples, cut into half.
Transfer the pork steaks to a baking dish. Sprinkle with grated cheese. Bake int the oven at 392 F for about 40 minutes.
Before placing the pork on a wire rack or in a frying pan, let it rest for half an hour. The meat will fry more evenly.
