Pork schnitzel with bran flake coat

A very easy recipe of pork schnitzel. It is made with bran flake coat. You will get a crispy crust outside the meat.
Serve with baked or fried potatoes, vegetable salad or rice.


  • Pork steaks
    11 lbs.
  • Eggs
    2,5 pcs.
  • Wheat flour
    5 tbsp.
  • Bran flakes
    to taste
  • Ground black pepper, salt
    to taste

  • Rinse the pork chops, remove the excess fat if it's required. Cover each piece of meat with cling film and beat on both sides.

  • Mix the following ingredients in one bowl: bran flakes, flour, salt and pepper.

  • Break the eggs and beat them.

  • Dip each pork chop in the flour mixture, then in the egg mixture and again in the flour. Heat the frying pan, add vegetable oil. Brown meat for 5-7 on each side.


  • Before placing the pork chops in a frying pan, let them rest for half an hour. The meat will brown more evenly.
