First of all, take pan add water, ginger, cinnamon, cloves, salt. Let it boil on medium heat for 10 minutes. Remove spices.
Now, add one cup of coconut milk and cup of water.
Rinse rice and add to boiling coconut broth. Also, some sugar to taste.
Cook rice until it gets through and creamy, and all broth is absorbed (around 25 minutes).Cool rice and place it the refrigerator.
Double-check that you are using medium or short-grained rice and not long-grained rice.
It’s meant to be served cold. To speed up chilling, put the finished rice in your serving dish or individual dessert cups and refrigerate before serving.
