Method

  • Let's start with prehating oven to 350F. Meanwhile, rinse and peel potatoes arrange them on a baking dish with parchment and cook for an hour. After that let it cool.

  • Next step is thinly rolling out the prepared using our tips section or bought dough into a circle which fits your pie pan. Don't forget that ircle shoul be for 1 inch bigger then your pan. Transfer the dough to a pie plate with parchment and trim it so that the edges. Wrap it with foil or parhment papper and transfer to the refrigerator for 15 minutes.

  • Cooled dough bake for 15 minutes.

  • Peel potatoes and mash them. In processor mix mashed potatoes with ginger, milk and eggs and beat until smooth. In addition, add sugar, granulated sugar, cinnamon, spices and salt and whisk again. Pour the filling into the crust. Bake until the surface is dry, 55-60 minutes. Cool before serving.

     

     

  • Turn the cream, sour cream, sugar and vanilla into a smooth mixture. Spread over pie crust. Refrigerate!

  • How to make basic pie dough?


    Melt the butter. In a separate bowl, beat the butter with a mixer with the flour, salt and sugar. Mix until the mass becomes homogeneous without lumps. Add water if necessary. This will help you mold whatever you want!
