Vegetable gratin is lovely addition for a main dish at your festive table.

  • Sweet potatos, peeled
    1 pcs.
  • Medium turnips, peeled
    4 pcs.
  • Shallots
    2 pcs.
  • Heavy cream
    1 cups
  • Panko breadcrumbs
    1,3333333333333 cups
  • Olive oil
    2 tbsp.
  • Cheese, crumbled
    4 oz.
  • Chopped hazelnuts
    1 cups
  • Chopped rosemary
    2 tbsp.
  • Kosher salt and black pepper
    to taste

Method

  • Start cooking with heating 400 F. Meantime, chop: potato, turnips, shallot.

  • Use baking sheet for placing chopped vegetables and season with salt and pepper. Now, pour cream in a baking sheet and cover it with a foil.Cook gratin for 40-45 minutes until vegetables get light golden brown color.

  • Mix breadcrumbs, cheese, oil, hazelnuts and rosemary. Add this mix over the gratin and bake for 15 minutes more.
