Rinse the arugula, pat dry and set aside. Wash the tomato as well and cut it into thin rings.
Cut open the bagel and spread cream cheese on each piece.
Place some arugula on one half bagel with cream cheese. Next, add a slice of ham, a slice of cheese and another slice of ham. Top with a few tomato slices and then more arugula before closing the sandwich with the other half of the bagel.
Experiment with different types of cheese, such as cheddar, Swiss, or mozzarella, to find your favorite.
For a vegetarian version, replace the ham with your favorite plant-based alternative.
You can also try different types of greens, such as spinach or lettuce, in place of the arugula.
Bon Appetit!
