  • Rinse the arugula, pat dry and set aside. Wash the tomato as well and cut it into thin rings.

  • Cut open the bagel and spread cream cheese on each piece.

  • Place some arugula on one half bagel with cream cheese. Next, add a slice of ham, a slice of cheese and another slice of ham. Top with a few tomato slices and then more arugula before closing the sandwich with the other half of the bagel.


  • Experiment with different types of cheese, such as cheddar, Swiss, or mozzarella, to find your favorite.

  • For a vegetarian version, replace the ham with your favorite plant-based alternative.

  • You can also try different types of greens, such as spinach or lettuce, in place of the arugula.
