  • Wash the cucumber and cut it into slices. 

  • Then wash the red onion and cut it into thin rings.

  • Now wash the arugula and dry it thoroughly. 

  • Finally, wash the avocado, remove the pit, peel the flesh, and cut it into thick slices.

  • Cut the bagels in half, spread cream cheese on one or both halves of each bagel, then add the filling, layering the vegetables in the following order: avocado, onion, cucumber, arugula. 


  • Consider marinating the red onion in vinegar or lemon juice to reduce its sharpness.

  • If you're short on time, consider using pre-made or store-bought bagels.

  • To add extra texture, sprinkle some toasted sesame seeds or pumpkin seeds on top of the arugula.
