Prepare the dessert filling for the bagels: add the fresh berries (in our case, blueberries and raspberries) to the cream cheese and beat with a blender until smooth.
Cut the bagel in half lengthwise and lightly toast in a frying pan without oil.
Spread the berry filling on each half of the bagel and serve. You can also add the whole berries to your bagel.
Use fresh, ripe berries for the best flavor.
To make the filling extra smooth, you can strain it through a fine-mesh sieve to remove any seeds.
You can use any type of cream cheese you like, such as regular, low-fat, or vegan.
If you want to add a little extra sweetness, you can drizzle some honey on top of the bagel before serving.
Bon Appetit!
