Method

  • Combine the mashed with a fork bananas with the pumpkin puree, vegetable oil, honey, sugar, and eggs in a big bowl. Mix all the ingredients until smooth with a whisk, mixer, or blender.

  • In a separate bowl, mix the dry ingredients with spices until homogenous mixture and add it to the banana mixture. Pour the dry mixture carefully so that lumps do not form when mixing. Pour a little at a time and stir, repeat this again and again.

  • Put the bread dough in a pre-greased butter mold and let it bake for about 50 minutes in the oven at 350°F. After, poke it with a spatula and if there is no dough sticking to it, the bread is baked. You can take it out of the oven with oven mitts and let it cool a bit. Then slice it and serve it with jam, honey, and other toppings for a tea party.

Notes

  • Keep in mind that every oven is different. The temperature and cooking time may differ from those indicated in the recipe.

  • Use a mixer to get your banana filling without lumps.

  • Banana bread often comes out uncooked, so be sure to bake it in a well-regulated oven, otherwise the outside will burn before the inside is baked. If you're experiencing this problem, check your oven or bake your banana bread at a lower temperature.

Bon Appetit!
