Method

  • Melt the butter in a water bath. Wash, peel, and mash 3 bananas. Then, beat the eggs with sugar until foamy. Mix them all.

  • Gradually add cocoa powder, flour, and baking powder. Stir until smooth, and take care that there shouldn't be any lumps.

  • Make a dough and put it into a greased with soft butter mold, decorate the top with sliced banana (make them with a pee knife) and bake the bread for 50-60 minutes at 352 °F in the oven. Pierce the bread with a toothpick or putty knife. If the dough does not stick, then take the bread out of the oven and let it cool a bit, then take out the mold and portion it out. Serve with tea and any sweet toppings.

Notes

  • Be sure to add sweet spices, so that the bread is even tastier.

  • You can put another banana inside as a filling, but cut it in half.

  • To melt the butter in a water bath, put the butter in a small bowl. Take a saucepan and fill it with water so that you can put the bowl with the butter and the water will not come in or the bowl will not float. Heat the pot with the bowl on the stove until all the butter is liquid. Carefully remove the pie pan with oven mitts or a folded towel so as not to burn yourself, and add the butter according to the recipe.

  • You can use soft butter to grease the mold, or if you have melted too much in a water bath, use the rest of the melted butter.

Bon Appetit!
