These are by far the best cinnamon sugar-filled baked donuts that adults and kids alike adore! For this recipe, you'll need a donut baking dish and a little effort. It takes a little time, so try to cook for your family, and you will not regret it!


  • White sugar
    2,3 cups
  • Butter, softened
  • Ground nutmeg
  • Salt
  • Egg

  • All-purpose flour

  • Ground cinnamon

  • Preheat the oven to 350 F. Spray cavities of a 12-cavity doughnut pan with cooking spray.

  • Combine sugar, butter, nutmeg, and salt in a deep bowl.

  • Beat with an electric mixer until well combined. Add egg and mix until incorporated.

  • Combine flour and baking powder in a deep bowl. Mix the two mixtures into one. Pour the dough into a large resealable plastic bag. Take a piping bag, scoop up the dough and squeeze into molds, filling each half.

  • Bake doughnuts in the preheated oven until ready, 7 to 9 minutes. You can check it like this: pierce the doughnut with a toothpick. If it came out dry, then you're done!

  • While the doughnuts are baking, place melted butter for topping in a shallow bowl. Mix together 2/3 cup sugar and cinnamon in another shallow bowl. Roll warm doughnuts in melted butter and then in cinnamon sugar to coat.
