Method

  • Preheat oven to 375 F, and grease a donut pan.

  • Put butter spread in a small microwave-safe bowl, and microwave for 30 seconds until melted.

  • In a medium-sized mixing bowl, combine melted butter, sugar, and cinnamon. Stir in almond milk. Add flour and baking powder, and mix until smooth.

  • Pour donut batter into the greased pan, and place in the oven. Bake at 375 degrees for 12-13 minutes. You can check the readiness with a toothpick. Just poke the donut and see if it comes out dry, then the donuts are ready!

  • Meanwhile, towards the end of the baking time, prepare the cinnamon sugar topping. Add butter spread to a small bowl and microwave for 30 seconds until melted. In a second bowl, combine cinnamon and sugar.

  • When donuts are done, take each one and dip it in the melted butter, then dip in the cinnamon sugar. Enjoy while still slightly warm!
