Glazed baked donut

Donuts are not the most dietary pastry, but they are still popular all over the world. They can be browned in oil or baked in the oven. Serve chilled with tea/coffee!


  • Wheat flour
    12 tbsp.
  • Milk
    3 tbsp.
  • Eggs
    3 pcs.
  • Water
    3 tsp.
  • Chocolate
    4,5 tsp.
  • Baking powder
    1,5 tsp.
  • Butter
    to taste
  • Vanilla sugar
    to taste
  • Powdered sugar

  • Sift the flour.

  • Break the eggs in a bowl. Add vanilla sugar, powdered sugar. Beat well with a fork, whisk or mixer.

  • Melt the butter in a microwave. The second way, put the butter in a saucepan on the stove. Then add to the egg mixture.

  • Pour in milk. Gradually add the flour, mixed with baking powder. Beat until smooth. The dough should be thick. Cover with cling film and refrigerate for half an hour.

  • Make glaze. Cut the chocolate bar into pieces, put in a pot and add a little water. Melt it, add butter and powdered sugar. Cook until all ingredients dissolve.

  • Then take the dough out of the fridge. Knead until it gets smooth and elastic. Roll out in a layer about 0.3 inches thick. Take the donuts cutter, cut out the donuts. Don’t forget to dip the donuts' cutler in the flour.

  • Transfer the donuts to a baking sheet, lined with parchment paper. Bake for about 20 minutes at 392 F. Then remove from oven, cool. Dip the donuts into a glaze, transfer to the plate and sprinkle with coconut flakes.


  • If the dough is too runny, add more flour.
