Thai beef salad in oyster sauce

One of the best dish of Thai cuisine is beef salad. It is cooked of marinated meat, fresh herbs and salad leaves, cucumbers. The highlight of this salad is dressing, made of soy and oyster sauces. A perfect dish for parties or dinner.

  • Lime
    2 pcs.
  • Red chili
    2 pcs.
  • Frisee greens
    2 pcs.
  • Celery stalks
    2 pcs.
  • Sprigs cilantro
    2 pcs.
  • Oyster sauce
    4 tbsp.
  • Soy sauce
    10 tbsp.
  • Sesame seeds
    2 tsp.
  • Olive oil
    4 tbsp.
  • Rice vinegar
    2 tbsp.

  • Cut the beef into small stripes. Then pour over the mixture with soy sauce and oyster sauce (half of these sauces). Soak the meat for 3 hours.

  • Heat the frying pan, add olive oil (half of olive oil). Brown the beef on both sides until crusty. Then simmer over low heat, covered with lid for about 1 hour.

  • Wash the cucumber and cut into stripes.

  • Cut the celery (washed with water) into small pieces.

  • Tear large leaves from Frisee greens.

  • Cut the red chili pepper into thin rings.
