Wash and clean the asparagus. Cook the asparagus in a pot of boiling salted water for about 3 minutes. Prepare a bowl of cold water and some ice cubes. Remove the asparagus from the pot and immediately put in the ice water for about 3 minutes. Then pat it dry with paper towels.
Cut the cherry tomatoes in half. Chop the onion. Rinse the peas in cold water and let the water drain. Put everything in a bowl with asparagus.
Finely chop a clove of garlic for the dressing. Then mix together mustard, lemon juice, maple syrup, pepper, olive oil and salt. Now pour the dressing over the salad.
This salad goes well with fish and grilled meat.
