If you want to cook a spring salad, make Coleslaw salad. It is cooked very quickly, just shred all ingredients, pour over with oil and lemon juice. If you don’t have green apples or don’t like sour taste, replace them with any other.

  • Carrots

  • Lemon
    pcs.
  • Green apples
    pcs.
  • Stalk green onion
    1 pcs.
  • Dill
    to taste
  • Sunflower oil
    1 tbsp.
  • Olive oil
    1 tsp.
  • Sunflower seeds
    1 tsp.

Method

  • Wash the cabbage, apples and carrots. Shred the cabbage.

  • Peel the apples and carrots. Finely grate.

  • Wash the herbs, finely cut.

  • Squeeze the lemon juice and grate zest.

  • Salad dressing. Combine the following ingredients: lemon juice (1/3 tbsp for 1 serving), oils. Mix well.

  • Put all chopped ingredients in a salad bowl. Pour the dressing over it. Season to your taste. Sprinkle with seeds.

Tips

  • How to get lemon juice. Take out the lemon from the fridge, leave it heat up for a few minutes. Then roll the fruit on your cooking board with your hands. This action helps to get more juice. Then slice the lemon crosswise using a sharp knife. Squeeze the lemon with the cutting side up, so the seeds don’t fall into the bowl.

  • Remove the core of the apple with a knife before grating.
