This salad is super inviting and ideal for any time of day. Sweet bananas and crisp apples mixed with prunes and raisins are delicious with a simple yoghurt dressing.

  • Apple (eg. Braeburn)

  • Raisins

  • Prunes
    4,2 oz
  • Pecan
    10 kernels
  • Yoghurt (1.5%)
    10,6 oz
  • Cinnamon powder
    to taste
  • Honey
    to taste

Method

  • Peel the banana and cut into slices (not too thin). Cut the apple into quarters, remove its core and cut into slices or pieces of any size.

  • Put the sliced fruits in a bowl, then add the raisins, prunes, pecans and top with yoghurt. Finally, sprinkle the salad with cinnamon. If desired, the fruit salad can be sweetened with honey.

Recommendations

  • Before adding the raisins to your salad, soften them by soaking them in hot water. 

  • The fruits must be ripe to bring out the full flavor.
