Potato salad is a perfect side for any kind of meat. If you don’t have time for cooking or want to impress unexpected guests, make this quick recipe. You just need new potatoes, fresh herbs and onion. Potato salad can be served with grilled seafood (shrimps, fish, octopus), barbecued meat, hamburgers and etc.


  • Potatoes
  • Green onion
    2 tbsp.
  • Head red onion
  • Vinegar
    1,5 tsp.
  • Vegetable oil
    1 tsp.
  • Herbs
    to taste
  • Ground black pepper
    to taste
  • Salt
    to taste

  • Wash the potatoes under running water, then transfer to a pot and fill with water. Cook for about 20 minutes until tender. When it’s done, drain the water and transfer to a large bowl of ice (the fastest way to cool a potato). Finally, cut into slices.

  • Wash the herbs and green onions, finely chop them.

  • Peel the red onion, cut into rings.

  • Combine the chopped ingredients in a large bowl. Season with spices to your taste,  add oil and vinegar. Stir well!
