The most delicious and quick snow crab salad. Tender crab meat with sour apples and boiled eggs. The dish is seasoned with lemon juice, mayonnaise and spices. Snow crab salad is the best idea for a light and quick dinner. Put the salad on lettuce leaves, garnishing with sliced tomatoes and lemon wedges.

  • Snow crab meat
    0,4 lb.
  • Apples
    0,7 lb.
  • Eggs
    4
  • Lemon
  • Mayonnaise
    7,2 tbsp.
  • Leaf lettuce
    1 bunch
  • Tomato
    to taste
  • Salt
    to taste
  • Ground black pepper
    to taste

Method

  • Defrost the crab meat in fridge for about 12 hours, at room temperature for 5 hours. If the crab meat is not boiled, then cook it. Fill a pot with water, put the crabs and add 1 tbsp of salt. Bring to a boil, then reduce heat to medium. Cook about 25 minutes. At the end leave the crabs to cool down and finely cut them.

  • Make hard boiled eggs. Fill a pot with water, add the eggs. As soon as the water boils, reduce heat and cook for up to 10 minutes. Then remove the eggs from the pot and chill in cold water. Peel and finely cut.

  • Peel the apples and cut them into strips.

  • Combine all the ingredients. Squeeze lemon juice, season with mayonnaise and spices to your taste. Mix everything.
