  • Soy sauce

  • Chili sauce
    tbsp.
  • Green onion
    to taste
  • Granulated sugar
    tbsp.
  • Ground pepper chili
    tbsp.
  • Ground black pepper
    to taste
  • Salt
    to taste

Method

  • Defrost the squids in advance under cold water. Fill a pot with water, bring to a boil. Add salt, bay leaf and peppercorns. Dip the squid in boiling water for 10 seconds, then remove and place another piece of squid. Finally, cut into strips.

  • Wash the cucumber, remove the seeds and cut into cubes or thin slices.

  • Peel the onion and garlic, wash and finely cut.

  • Make the sauce. Combine the following ingredients: soy sauce, chili sauce, sesame oil, granulated sugar, vinegar and spices.

  • Combine all ingredients in a bowl. Mix well. Sprinkle with sesame seeds if desired.

Tips

  • How to prepare squids? Put the frozen squid in a bowl and pour boiling water over it. In 2 minutes, pour out the water and remove the film. Then, remove also entrails and wash the squids under running water.

  • If the squid meat is tough, continue cooking for about 30 minutes.
