Method

  • Peel the potatoes, wash them thoroughly, cut them into cubes. Then, place them in a pot filled with salted water (add about a teaspoon of salt) and bring them to a boil. Insert the fork into the potatoes, if they crumble, it means they are ready. Lastly, drain the water.

  • Wash the vegetables. Dice the onion and cut the red pepper in slices. Grate the carrot and crush the garlic cloves.

  • Take a frying pan, heat up some oil in it and simmer the diced onion until it caramelizes. After it's done, add the chicken liver, red pepper and the carrot. Let it cook until the liver is ready (about 30 minutes, until the color darkens), then add the tomato sauce and put the lid on. Gradually stir the mixture until it's fully cooked. When it boils, it is done.

  • Mash the potatoes in a clean bowl using a blender, add butter and seasoning to taste. Add the cooked liver on top of the mashed potatoes. Serve with love.

Suggestion

  • For decoration, add greens (parsley, dill) on top.

  • You can place the leftovers in the fridge and heat it in a pan with a cube of butter the next day.

Bon Appetit!
