A specific recipe from Germany. Potato pancakes are a new idea for breakfast, but they can also be served for lunch or dinner. It is a healthy recipe, very appetizing, made from ingredients with rich nutritional properties.

Ingredients

  • Potatoes
    17,6 oz.
  • Tuna fish
    8,8 oz.
  • Eggs
    4 pcs.
  • Salt and pepper
    a pinch
  • Scallions
    4 pcs.
  • White flour
    4 tbsp.
  • Cucumber
    1 pcs.
  • Chopped dill
    to taste per portion
  • Greek yoghurt
    2 tbsp.
  • Grated Parmesan cheese
    2 tbsp.

Method

  • Cut the potatoes into cubes and boil them in salted water for 25 minutes. 

  • When the potatoes have boiled, drain the water. Add an egg, a pinch of salt and mix well. Add the tuna over the mixture and chopped scallions, 1 tablespoon of parmesan and black pepper.

  • Add 2 tablespoons of flour, stir well and shape the mixture into balls with your hands.

  • In a plate with flour, roll the potato balls and fry them in a pan in some olive oil. Brown them on both sides.

  • The sauce for the pancakes is made with a grated cucumber and dill. Also add 2 spoons of yogurt and a little salt for the taste.

Recommendation

  • Serve the potato pancakes warm. Add cream to complete the taste.
