Orzo rice pilaf is a delicious Turkish dish. It is made of rice and pasta in the shape of rice. The meal can be served with chicken, steak or grilled vegetables. The rice pilaf recipe is cooked very easy and fast. So you can make the dinner on busy weekdays without any efforts.


  • Long-grain rice

  • Orzo
  • Water
    1,5 cups
  • Olive oil
    3 tbsp.
  • Salt
    1 tbsp.
  • Parsley
    to taste
  • Dill
    to taste

  • Soak rice in cold water for 20 minutes, then rinse it.

  • Wash the greens herbs, finely cut it.

  • Heat the frying pan and pour the olive oil. Then add orzo, saute it until brown over the moderate heat. Stir constantly.

  • Then add the rice, season with salt. Cook the grain for about 5 minutes. Don’t forget to stir it.

  • Heat cold water, then pour it into a pan. Mix all the ingredients. Reduce the heat to low, simmer for 15-20 minutes. Remove from the stove. Garnish with green herbs.
