Wash the tomatoes. Boil water, place the tomatoes in boiling water for 15 seconds to peel them easy.
Peel and slice the tomatoes into small pieces. Put the pieces in the blender and grind them up.
Wash onion and garlic, peel and chop finely.
Fry the onion and garlic together in olive oil about 3-4 minutes. Next, put the tomatoes and stew for a few more minutes over medium heat. Finally add salt, pepper and fresh basil.
