Preheat the air fryer to 400°F (200°C). Wash the sweet potatoes with clear water in the meanwhile, and then peel them.
The potatoes should be sliced into 1/2-inch broad fries. Assemble in a dish onto the canola oil. Convey with salt, pepper, maybe garlic powder, and if you want some paprika, then toss to cover all fries equally.
Fill the air fryer basket with a layer of fries that is uniform in thickness, working in batches if necessary.
In the preheated air fryer, cook the fries until they turn golden, about 10 minutes. Repeat the process for the remaining fries.
Don't forget about the sauce! We like to serve these fries with ketchup or mayo for dipping.
Fries can be kept in the refrigerator for up to several days by placing them in a zip-top bag or container. To guarantee crispy leftovers, reheat them in an air fryer.
Bon Appetit!
