Method

  • Put the oven to 450°F (230°C). 

  • In the meantime, cleanse the potatoes, peel them, and then slice them into cubes. After that, peel and chop the onions into chunks.

  • Incorporate the yams, oil, and chopped onions in a wide dish and cook until slightly thickened. On a broad baking dish, lay out the mixture. Cook until the yams are soft, about 40–50 minutes in a preheated oven.

Tips

  • Olive oil is the best type of oil to use here.

     

  • Don't forget to turn the sweet potatoes a few times during baking.
