Method

  • Cut the chicken into pieces, put it in boiling water in a pot. Cook for about 4 hours. Cooking time depends on the age of the poultry. Therefore, check if it’s done with a fork. Also add hot water to the broth as it evaporates.

  • Peel vegetables and cut them randomly. Add to the broth when it's cooking 2 hours.

  • Cook rice in another pot. It is required 1 3/4 cups of water for 7.05 oz of rice. Before cooking, rinse the rice and cook with a lid for 20 minutes over medium heat.

  • Make hard-boiled eggs. Pour enough water into the pot (cover completely the eggs). Bring to a boil, then cook for 10 minutes. Cool and peel them.

  • When the meat is done, finely cut it. Strain the broth, discard the vegetables.

  • Pour the hot broth into a deep plate. Add rice, meat and half of an egg (cut the eggs in half). Sprinkle the soup with herbs. Season with spices to your taste.

Tip

  • To cook good recipes with chicken, choose a quality product. Buy the chicken with a light pink skin. Besides, it should have a very mild smell or no odor.
