Chicken soup is the best recipe for colds. It is easy to cook even in any busy day. Make this dish special by adding more fresh herbs.


  • Chiken meat

  • Onions

  • Rinse chicken meat, cut into small chunks. Fill a pot with water. Add chicken, peeled carrots and onions (not all vegetables, just a half). When the broth is boiling, skim off the scum and fat. Cook without a lid over low heat for about 20-30 minutes (after boiling).  Strain the broth, remove vegetables.

  • Peel potatoes, cut into cubes. Add to the soup and cook for about 15 minutes.

  • Peel onions and carrots. Finely cut the onions, grate the carrots. Heat the frying pan, pour vegetable oil and brown the chopped vegetables for a few seconds.

  • Add this mixture with carrots to the soup. Then add noodles. Season with spices to your taste. When the soup is done, remove from stove. Sprinkle with chopped herbs before serving.


  • To cook good recipes with chicken, choose a quality product. Buy the chicken with a light pink skin. Meat should have a very mild smell or no odor.
