Usually, cauliflower is not used with turkey, but this recipe proves that those two ingredients will transform the dish into something absolutely mouthwatering. In just a few easy steps, you will be left with a delicious soup that will undeniably brighten your day and satisfy your hunger.

  • Boneless, skinless turkey breasts

  • Onion

  • Garlic
    2 cloves
  • Carrots

  • Celery

  • Turkey broth
    6 cups
  • Cauliflower
    1 head
  • Dried thyme
    1 tbsp.

Method

  • Wash and chop the carrots, celery, onion, and, of course, the cauliflower head. Also, take the garlic cloves and mince them very well. When all the ingredients are cut, place them in a separate dish. 

  • Pour in the pot 1-2 tablespoons of olive oil into a heated deep pot and start adding the ingredients one by one. Begin by arranging the chopped onion, turkey breast, and minced garlic. Cook until the onion reaches a golden color. Then add the cut celery, carrots, and cauliflower. Cook for 3 minutes and pour the turkey broth into the pot. Bring everything to a boil and simmer for 15-20 minutes until the soup is done. 

  • When the soup is done and has slightly cooled down, season it with salt and thyme. If desired, season the dish with seasonings of your choice. 

Tips

  • Another ingredient that can be added to the soup is peas. Peas actually go super well with cauliflower, so definitely try it out! You can add canned peas to the soup.
