  • Boneless, skinless turkey breasts

  • Onion

Method

  • Wash and cut all the vegetables needed for the soup: onions, carrots, and celery. The ingredients have to be chopped into small cubes; preferably, the onions should be cut into thin slices. Furthermore, take the garlic cloves, remove their skin, and mince them. 

  • In a large pot, pour 1 tablespoon of olive oil or any other oil that you like. When the oil starts boiling, add the cut onions and minced garlic cloves. Saute everything until the onion turns translucent; it usually takes around 5 minutes. Afterward, add the cut turkey breast and cook until the meat is done. Around 15 minutes.

  • In the pot, add the chopped carrots, celery, and turkey broth to the soup. Season everything with thyme or any other seasonings and boil the soup for another 10-15 minutes. After those minutes pass, add the gnocchi and cook the soup until the gnocchi starts appearing on the surface of the soup; it usually takes around 3 minutes. 

  • When the soup is done, remove it from the heat and let it cool down for 5 extra minutes. Serve the dish and enjoy its delectable taste. 

Tips

  • When buying gnocchi at your local store, pay close attention to the ingredient list. The gnocchi have to have a few ingredients, such as potato, flour, salt, and of course water.
