Put a piece of butter on a preheated frying pan and add onion to it.
Cook until the onion softens, and then add potatoes to it, season well, then add the stock and bring to a simmer.
When the potatoes become soft, use a blender and turn everything into a homogeneous mass.
The final touch is the addition of cream, and now our soup can be served . The dish on top can be decorated with finely chopped onions. Bon Appetit!
